Prince Tyger has a distinct sense of when he should keep his feet ON (or close to) the ground and when he and his feet should be ABOVE the ground. On the carousel, he realized that donkeys, elephants and horses - or at least those he has so far experienced - do not fly. So when riding the smaller scale animals, he was quite content to dangle his legs only a few scant inches from the ground.
Airplanes, however, are a different matter. Airplanes belong WAY up high and so do the people in them. After the carousel experience, however, the Tyger's parents thought that he might enjoy "flying" a plane close to the ground. So Big T buckled him in and showed him the gears that he should push.
Prince Tyger knows that he is going to enjoy this experience to the fullest degree. He LOVES airplanes!
And now the machine is starting up ... oh boy, here we go!
Hey, wait a minute! Where did everyone else go?
It looks like they are UP there!
So why am I down here? Maybe I should climb up the machine ... ?
Maybe there is something wrong with my plane ... perhaps the wings don't work.
Now THAT'S more like it! Whee!
The Red Baron had better watch out.
If he's not careful, he'll have a Tyger by the tail!
