Travels in China - Beijing Home Away From Home

We resume reports on the China travels of HWMBO and his study group.  When last I posted, they were enjoying X'ian.  Now it's time to get them to Beijing, not only the capital city but also the group's headquarters for the rest of their China visit.

While in Beijing, the group were housed at the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA).   CAFA was founded in 1950 by incorporating two existing art academies.  It is the leading institution for modern art education in China.
Here is their dormitory -
specifically for "Experts and International Students."
Notice all the bicycles!
Their mornings began with tai chi exercises in the courtyard
and their instructor, Lisa, must have had all she could do to keep a straight face at the well-meaning efforts of her pupils.
The group were allowed to visit the city themselves, provided that they kept instructions in Chinese with them at all times
to show the taxi driver so that they could get back to the dormitory!
