Other Sights at le Festival du Chocolat

At yesterday's Festival du Chocolat, there were food stalls set up outside the main tent, with wine bars a-plenty.  Even local police officers  - benign presences at this event - seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Here was a typical table scene, with conviviality the order of the day.

A unique small stall catered to the desires of those who preferred oysters with their chocolate - and champagne with their oysters.

A small carnival was on-site to help keep the young ones amused.

Huge balloons were also popular with the young ones ...

as were clowns with puppet-like toys ...

for the children to play with.

Even small dogs seemed to like the idea of playing with the puppets.

The city band prepared to entertain.

And those who got tired of trudging about were able to sit down and take the weight off - as well as their shoes!
