"Radio Flyer" is practically an iconic American company. Almost every family with children will have had at least one Radio Flyer toy, usually the little red Radio Flyer wagon, in its toy "arsenal" - either new or passed down from older generations - in its parenting experience. The company specializes in toy vehicles for children, manufacturing fire engines, bicycles, tricycles and racers, in addition to the wagon. Those vehicles are almost always great hits with the young ones. This newest generation is no different, as demonstrated recently by Prince Tyger and his Sweet Princess companion K.
The name "Radio Flyer," was coined by the founder of the company, Antonio Pasin, from his fascination with the invention of the radio and flight. The name itself is thus the stuff that dreams are made of, especially when there's a little breeze to help the illusion. What is going on in those little minds?
Perhaps one of the most well-known excursions into drama-fantasy involving a Radio Flyer occurred in the 1992 film "Radio Flyer," where an abused child is able to escape from his tormentor by flying away in the eponymous wagon. Fortunately, the overwhelming majority of children will never find themselves in a similar situation. It is to be most fervently hoped that none ever will. But the wagon also remains the stuff of dreams for all small ones. And it's great fun to share those dreams with a friend.
One can also see that Prince Tyger believes very much in the importance of keeping himself hydrated!
But like all good things, even Radio Flyer dreaming comes to an end.
At least for a time.
