Princess Butterfly at the hairdresser

This summer, Princess Butterfly had her first "professional" haircut.  Sweet Momma M memorialized the Big Day in photos.  These two are among the "before" shots.  The Princess looks a bit apprehensive.

Now the work begins in earnest ...

after a shy Mona Lisa smile, the apprehension is somewhat less evident.

Following a trim around that sweet little face, a dreaming Princess emerges.

The Princess is being so good.  It's not easy for a three-year-old to sit still for so long!

Hmmm ... will this ever finish?

There's the impish girl we know!

The curls now look curly, not tangled.

"There was a little girl, Who had a little curl, Right in the middle of her forehead ...."

And now that the small ordeal is over, there are smiles all round - even from the hairdresser. 

Princess Butterfly has had her first haircut ... and survived!  It's Slurpee time!
