Princess in the pool

Princess Butterfly has been learning how to swim.  During my recent visit, her progress was quite impressive.  Before seeing her in action and telling about some of her more surprising exploits, I'll jump back to the beginning of the summer for this post, that is, just as she was getting used to being in the swimming pool this season.  Here she is in her "bikini" - checking things out, with four-year-old cousin Prince A in the background.

It's so nice to have a Big Bro like Prince M to help the Princess adjust her life jacket.

Then the Princess gets in, cautiously holding on to the side of the pool,

looks around to ensure that the photographer is paying attention,

and finally begins to trust the life jacket.

Big Bro helps the Princess "swim"

and adjusts the straps once again.

Then Big Sis Ice Princess comes to see how Princess Butterfly is doing.

Hangin' with Big Sis is SO much fun!

Princess Butterfly is ready for more!
